What Will You Stamp Week #15 B.Y.O.P.

Hey Everyone!!

Welcome to another week at What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog! This week we are featuring the B.Y.O.P. stamp set. I knew as soon as I saw this stamp set I wanted to use the BYOP sentiment. It is so bold and sassy. I really love how this stamp set is in pairs also. You can have a sentiment in the front of your card and have a sentiment that coordinates stamped in the inside. With my card I used the coordinating sentiment on the front and I think it flows nicely.

Ok so who is ready for my card details?! I used the new 2015 - 2017 In Color Watermelon Wonder for the base of the card. Whisper White is matting the other layer of Watermelon Wonder. I wanted to use DSP somehow so I thought how fun would it be to have it poking through some kind of design? So I grabbed the chevron punch and went to town. I only used a small strip of DSP also since only so much is actually showing through.

After layering the card I felt it needed something more so I ended up embossing the piece of Watermelon Wonder with the stars emboss folder. I love how it looks with the chevron punched. After that I used Bermuda Bay to mat my sentiment. I really wanted to tie all the colors together and bring the blue and orange out in the DSP paper.

I used a heart from sweet dreams designer buttons and Bermuda bay bakers twine for a simple detail. I have a really hard time making "simple clean" cards. I also feel the need to keep adding and adding stuff to my cards. I envy those who can stamp a single image and the card looks so classic! In the meanwhile I will be making cards layering like crazy. I think this is one of my favorite cards though that I have done in awhile
Well I really hope you enjoyed my post today and my card brings you a little inspiration. Please check out the other ladies on What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog today and don't forget to subscribe to my blog!

What Will You Stamp Week #14 Another Thank You

Welcome to another week to What Will You Stamp? Today we have featured is Another Thank You. Very fitting I think since I am always thankful you come back every week to check out my blog. I am very excited for today's post because I know tomorrow Stampin' Up's new catalog goes live!! Super excited about that now. Ok well enough of me rambling on. Let's get to my card!

I was very excited because I found my Deco Labels Framelits this week just in time for this card. Those framelits have been "misplaced" for two weeks and it was driving me crazy! But I found them and immediately knew I wanted to use them for this card.

So everyone knows I love to layer. I have some layering going on like usual but nothing to crazy. I placed a tea lace doily behind the matted sentiment because I felt it needed a softer girly feel. I know I can't get away from those doily's just yet!! I really absolutely love this card.

I had some ribbon that I had not used yet so I decided to try it out. I love the way it compliments the melon mambo cardstock. The card is very simple to put together which is great news for me since I have several more to make for my daughter to give to everyone who ordered from her fundraiser. I figured it would be nice to give them a handmade card with something she wrote in it for them when she gives them their products.

Well once again that you for stopping by my blog and check it out. Don't forget our new catalog goes live and you can order products 24/7 from my online store! I appreciate everyone who keeps coming back and following us on What Will You Stamp! Challenge Blog

What Will You Stamp Week #13 Your Perfect Day

Welcome to another week on What Will You Stamp?

This week we are featuring the stamp set Your Perfect Day. It's a perfect set for the lovebirds or newlyweds in your life. I knew when I saw this set I wanted to use a doily and gold in it. Weddings always remind me of lace and bling.

For my card I used perfect plum cardstock to emboss with the textured impression folder Baroque as the background. After that I just layered everything else on it. There I stamped the circle leaf like image in perfect plum on vellum paper. I used the scalloped punch behind the vellum. I didn't want the scallop to come past the vellum. I just wanted some detail behind it so it wasn't all gold. The circle framelits were used for the vellum and gold glimmer paper. The smaller circle is punched with the 1 3/8 circle punch.

Here is a close up of the card. The gold sequin and bakers twine is placed behind the doily just for some added detail and dimension. I wanted this card to be elegant but "busy" with lots of details at the same time. I feel like that is what weddings are...so many details! Plus love is never plain so why have a plain card to celebrate it?! lol

Well this concludes my card. Thank you so much for joining us on another week of What Will You Stamp? We really do appreciate every taking the time to see our cards. Soon we will have new stamp sets with the new catalog coming out and we are so excited to share it with you! Have a fantastic day!

What Will You Stamp Week 12 - Guy Greetings!!

Hey Everyone!!

I am back this week!! Well today we are showcasing the stamp set Guy Greetings on the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog!! I love this set. You can cover every man in your life with this set. When I saw we were doing this set for this week I was especially excited because today is my Step-dad's birthday!! So it was perfect timing for me.

I made a birthday card with this set for this week's challenge. But I plan on using it also make father day cards for all the important guys in my life who are dads.

Since this is a card for a man I wanted to keep it simple and clean with not a lot of fuss. But it still had to have some detail. I kept the colors neutrals because. I went with Baked Brown Sugar, Black and Whisper White for the cardstock. I used the Honeycomb Embossing folder to add some detail. I felt it was a MANLY embossing look. Then I just used the Banner framelits to cut out some banners.

Now I didn't want to keep the banner white so instead of stamping it I decided to use washi tape. I always forget about washi tape when it comes to my cards. I love washi tape but mainly use it in my planner. The sentiment's come from the Guy Greetings set. The circle was punched out with the 2" circle punch. The ink pads I used were Jet Black Staz On Ink and Baked Brown Sugar. Oh!! Last but not least....I used our stapler to staple that little banner to the circle. I love that mini stapler!!!

Here is a closer look at the sentiment. I don't know if you can see it but I love the lettering in this set. There is dimension and the letters have details in them. It's clean but still gives them a nice look.

Well that is it for my card this week. I really hope you enjoyed stopping by and I hope you check out all of the other girls What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog and see what ideas they came up. Everyone is so creative and talented.

Happy Crafting everyone and see you next week!!

WWYS WEEK #10! Painted Petals

Hi Crafters! Thank you for stopping by today and hanging out with us on What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog
I am so glad to be back this week and share my card with you. I had to take some time off to tend to family. This week we are featuring the Painted Petals stamp set. I knew when I saw this set I wanted to use the flowers. This stamp set comes with so many stamps. Your options are endless with it.

To get the background lines behind the flowers I used my watercolor pen and crumb cake. I wanted there to be some color behind the flowers when I stamped them. I stamped off to get the lighter pink flowers instead of having to use multiple stamp pads.

I punched out my sentiment with decorative label punch. I love to "mat" my sentiments so to accomplish this I punched out crumb cake with the decorative label punch and then cut it in half with my trimmer. I then offset it a little behind the sentiment and used stampin' dimensionals to get the popped up effect.

Of course none of my cards are never complete without some bling. I love this butterfly stamp and the matching framelits from Stampin' Up. I put some rhinestones on my butterfly to give it some sparkle.

What Will You Stamp? Week #7 From the Garden!

Welcome Back to another week with us here at What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog.

This week we are featuring the From The Garden stamp set. Isn't this a neat set? You can not only make cards with it but there are also some cute projects on pinterest with it being used in plants as gifts!

I chose to do a card with mine though. I have been dying to use Corner Garden and thought this was a great stamp set to pair it up with. There is a lot going but with keeping the color simple it isn't overwhelming.

went for Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight to keep with spring colors. I stamped Corner Garden on whisper white and then cut it out by hand and then just layered it on top of the emboss card. A few little details were added to the card to complete it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card this week! Hope to see you play along at WWYS? Challenge blog! Don't forget to check out the other ladies cards as well! Happy crafting all!

What Will You Stamp? Week #6 Choose Happiness

Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by and joining us at What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog for another week. I am excited to see what everyone came up with. This week we are featuring Choose Happiness which is a hostess gift. I really love this stamp set.

So....today is my sweet little girl's birthday. I made this card and it has everything she loves. Flowers, gold and that Bermuda Bay blue! I am going to keep this short and sweet because it's been a busy week with Easter and her birthday with lots of planning. But I do hope you enjoy the hop and like my card! I will touch on a couple of details.

I used the rose stencil from the Artisan Embellishment kit to sponge the roses. I use Bermuda Bay ink pad for the roses. Everything else I just piled up on top of each other. In case you can't already tell I like to just add layers on layers and see what happens. I stamped the flower in Bermuda Bay and then cut it out by hand. I really am happy with how this card came out.

Thank  you for stopping by and make sure to check out everyone else's card at What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog!!
