WWYS? Week #5 For Peep's Sake!

Happy Monday!!

Spring is here and it's about time for Peep's Sake! Today we are featuring that exact stamp set "For Peep's Sake" on What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog. I wanted to do a simple Easter Card since I have a few I need to send out. So here is my card. The sentiment is from For Peep's Sake. The sunburst is from Kinda Eclectic. Another one of my favorite's!

I wanted my card to be refreshing and just happy so I used bright cheery colors for the card. Daffodil Delight is always my go to color when I think happy! I am please with how it goes with Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana.

I love embossing my cards so I used the chevron for this one. Chevron always reminds me of Easter and Spring. I think it's a fun design. Well I hope you enjoyed stopping by today and you get to check everyone else's cards! Enjoy the hop.Don't forget Sale-a-Bration ends Tomorrow! Get your orders in before the awesome sale goes away!!!

WWYS Challenge #4 Big Day!!

Welcome Back Everyone! Happy Monday!
Thanks for joining us for our fourth week now! I have to say I am loving our group What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog! We have and enjoy looking forward to everyone's cards each week. It's so exciting to see what they have made!
This week the stamp set we are featuring is Big Day! It's one of the free Sale-a-Bration choices with you place a $50 order!! It's an amazing sale. For every $50 you spend you get a free product! There are so many items to choose from!! The sale ends March 31 so you still have time! So back to my card now!
I love shaker frames right now. I think they are so fun and I thought it would be perfect to make one for a birthday card! I stamped the cake on Bermuda bay cardstock and used a window sheet and shaker frame to make the shaker. For the confetti I just used my star punch on different paper and glimmer paper.
Probably one of my most favorite items from the occasion catalog in the bow builder punch!!! I love how small and cute it is and how simple it is for me to make a bow and of course I used some baker's twine!

Here is a close up of the frame! Isn't that just so fun!! Here are all of the stamps that come with the set! Isn't that an amazing free stamp set to pick!?
Well I hope you enjoyed this week's post and you guys play along with us! Don't forget to link up your cards at WWYS? Challenge Blog!!! If you would like to follow my blog click the button on the right!! Thanks for stopping by.

By The Tide WWYS Week 3

Hey Crafty Friends!

So if you are just joining me it's because I forgot to hit publish on my blog post instead of Save! Opps. Hey but better late to the party than never showing anyways on with my card!

This week we worked with By the Tide Stamp Set. This stamp set at first was a struggle when I first saw it. Then after staring at it for awhile I pictured an ocean scene. I wanted to try my hand with the watercolor pens. I have always loved the cards I have seen with them. Everyone at WWYS? Challenge Blog came up with amazing cards this week! I am so impressed with each and every one of my team members!

I first used versa mark to stamp the coral image and use cherry cobbler to emboss it. After wards I went to town with water coloring. I really enjoyed it. After I was done water coloring and the paper dried I went on to stamp the rest of the images. I distressed the edges of the Sahara Sand Mat and added some twice and ribbon.

Well I really hope you enjoyed this card and join us this week and stamp along with us. Head over to What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and check every one else's cards!

Best Day Ever! What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog Week 2

Hey Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to our second week at What Would You Stamp? Challenge Blog. I hope the week has been well to you and you found time to visit everyone's blogs and check out their card from last Monday. I have a cute simple birthday card using the Best Day Ever sale-a-bration stamp Set!

One of my favorite parts of this stamp set is the dot stamp! It makes it really simple to create that "bokeh" techinique that is so hot right now and everyone is trying out.

I decided to stamp the inside of the card also just to add to it. I love the little simple flowers. This is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets from Sale-a- Bration.

The winner from last weeks drawing is M.E. Stites! Congratulations! Please email where you would like me to send your bakers twine!!

I hope you all enjoyed your visit and have a chance to visit everyone's blogs! Happy Hopping.

What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog Week 1

Hey Everyone!

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Every Monday for the next few months you will be seeing a new post from me! I am now part of What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and will be posting new projects once a week on Monday! I love challenge blogs. It's great to see what the team does and then inspires me to make a project of my own. What is nice about our challenge blog is that we will be focusing on a specific stamp set each week! I love this idea because every team member will be using the same stamp set and you will get a wide variety of ideas. All of the team members are very creative but we also each have our own style!

So for my very first project for our new blog What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog I made this birthday card for a wonderful friend of mine!
I love this card because it is a mix of all of my favorite things! I have layers, a doily, rhinestones, heat embossing, dry embossing and my fave color Bermuda Bay. I love how the black just makes it pop! I am a big fan of bakers twine and sequins for that extra shine!
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I stamped my image with versa mark on vellum and then heat embossed it with black emboss powder. I love the texture it brings to the card! The black mat is dry embossed with the polka dot emboss folder. I stamped just the top portion of the stamp again in Bermuda bay and cut out the "just for you" by hand and used my stampin' dimensionals to "pop dot" it up! I am a big fan of adding layers and dimensions to my cards.

Here is a close up of one of the balloons. I stamped the balloons on whisper white cardstock and then cut those out as well. I tied the bakers twine to the end. It's hard to tell in the picture but those balloons sparkle! I added Dazzling details to the balloons for that extra sparkle. I really hope you enjoy my card and check everyone else's projects on the design team! So please go to What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog to see other great ideas made with this stamp set and have fun making something yourself with this set!
To add to the fun, the Design Team members will each be giving away some "blog candy" as I like to call it. So make sure to check everyone's post and leave a comment that you stopped by!
