I am so glad to be back this week and share my card with you. I had to take some time off to tend to family. This week we are featuring the Painted Petals stamp set. I knew when I saw this set I wanted to use the flowers. This stamp set comes with so many stamps. Your options are endless with it.
To get the background lines behind the flowers I used my watercolor pen and crumb cake. I wanted there to be some color behind the flowers when I stamped them. I stamped off to get the lighter pink flowers instead of having to use multiple stamp pads.
I punched out my sentiment with decorative label punch. I love to "mat" my sentiments so to accomplish this I punched out crumb cake with the decorative label punch and then cut it in half with my trimmer. I then offset it a little behind the sentiment and used stampin' dimensionals to get the popped up effect.
Of course none of my cards are never complete without some bling. I love this butterfly stamp and the matching framelits from Stampin' Up. I put some rhinestones on my butterfly to give it some sparkle.
I hoped you enjoyed this card. Please come back next week to see what I have made but in the meantime please check out the rest of what the What Will You Stamp? design team has made. Don't forget to play along and win a chance to be a guest designer.
Happy Crafting,
Priscilla
I love the cute little butterfly touch Priscilla!
