By The Tide WWYS Week 3

Hey Crafty Friends!

So if you are just joining me it's because I forgot to hit publish on my blog post instead of Save! Opps. Hey but better late to the party than never showing up...so anyways on with my card!

This week we worked with By the Tide Stamp Set. This stamp set at first was a struggle when I first saw it. Then after staring at it for awhile I pictured an ocean scene. I wanted to try my hand with the watercolor pens. I have always loved the cards I have seen with them. Everyone at WWYS? Challenge Blog came up with amazing cards this week! I am so impressed with each and every one of my team members!

Close Up - The little seahorse with crystal effects!

I first used versa mark to stamp the coral image and use cherry cobbler to emboss it. After wards I went to town with water coloring. I really enjoyed it. After I was done water coloring and the paper dried I went on to stamp the rest of the images. I distressed the edges of the Sahara Sand Mat and added some twice and ribbon.

Well I really hope you enjoyed this card and join us this week and stamp along with us. Head over to What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and check every one else's cards!

Best Day Ever! What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog Week 2

Hey Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to our second week at What Would You Stamp? Challenge Blog. I hope the week has been well to you and you found time to visit everyone's blogs and check out their card from last Monday. I have a cute simple birthday card using the Best Day Ever sale-a-bration stamp Set!

One of my favorite parts of this stamp set is the dot stamp! It makes it really simple to create that "bokeh" techinique that is so hot right now and everyone is trying out.

I decided to stamp the inside of the card also just to add to it. I love the little simple flowers. This is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets from Sale-a- Bration.

I hope you all enjoyed your visit and have a chance to visit everyone's blogs! Happy Hopping.

What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog Week 1

Hey Everyone!

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Every Monday for the next few months you will be seeing a new post from me! I am now part of What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and will be posting new projects once a week on Monday! I love challenge blogs. It's great to see what the team does and then inspires me to make a project of my own. What is nice about our challenge blog is that we will be focusing on a specific stamp set each week! I love this idea because every team member will be using the same stamp set and you will get a wide variety of ideas. All of the team members are very creative but we also each have our own style!

So for my very first project for our new blog What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog I made this birthday card for a wonderful friend of mine!

I love this card because it is a mix of all of my favorite things! I have layers, a doily, rhinestones, heat embossing, dry embossing and my fave color Bermuda Bay. I love how the black just makes it pop! I am a big fan of bakers twine and sequins for that extra shine!
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I stamped my image with versa mark on vellum and then heat embossed it with black emboss powder. I love the texture it brings to the card! The black mat is dry embossed with the polka dot emboss folder. I stamped just the top portion of the stamp again in Bermuda bay and cut out the "just for you" by hand and used my stampin' dimensionals to "pop dot" it up! I am a big fan of adding layers and dimensions to my cards.

Here is a close up of one of the balloons. I stamped the balloons on whisper white cardstock and then cut those out as well. I tied the bakers twine to the end. It's hard to tell in the picture but those balloons sparkle! I added Dazzling details to the balloons for that extra sparkle. I really hope you enjoy my card and check everyone else's projects on the design team! So please go to What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog to see other great ideas made with this stamp set and have fun making something yourself with this set!

Have a Egg-Cellent Easter

Well it may be Valentine's Day today but that doesn't mean we can't already have Easter on our mind. That's right! Easter is April 5th this year....are you starting your Easter cards already? I am getting a head start and finishing up my cards so I can prepare treats for my little ones classroom once we are closer to Easter.

I am sharing my first Easter card with you guys. It's from the stamp set For Peep's sake. Isn't it cute? I love the little chick. I stamped my chick, then cut him out and then I used crystal effects on him to make him shiny! To make my frame I used the On Film Framelits. I love that set.

Spring is my favorite time of you because of the pop of colors. Who doesn't love color!? Well I hope you guys enjoyed this post and don't procrastinate and start those Easter projects!

A little Mini Treat Bag Delight!

Hey all my crafty friends!!

It's been awhile since I have posted. But I have been a busy little crafter. I have an exciting project to share with you guys today. This little treat bag is for my Valentine. I am absolutely in love with this Thinlit die! It is so adorably cute and it comes with so many things!! It's a definite must have in my book! I also made five more for my staff at work. A little thank you for all of their hard work.

This post has a massive amount of pictures but hopefully it brings you guys a little inspiration. Ok so onto the projects details! No two treat bags are the same. What I like about it though is I was able to make it into a gift card hold and still use it as a card. Anyways hope you enjoy the pics! Leave a comment if you have any questions and remember you can always go to my online store and shop away to get the goodies you need.

Winter Wonderland Starburst

Hey Everyone,

Today's card I used the starburst technique along with the deco framelits. I love the background and how I was able to use the scraps from my All is Calm designer series paper. The fancy fan embossing folder was the perfect background base that I didn't think took away from my starburst background. I wanted that to be the focal point of my card.

I cut different sizes of the framelits and layered them. The sentiment is from the wondrous wreath stamp set. I think this is one my favorite cards I have done. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card.

Twinkle Twinkle little star...

I have a Christmas card for you guys today. I have been swamped with life but that doesn't mean I haven't been crafting! I have lots to share and the first thing I am showing off is this star christmas card I made. I saw something similar on pinterest and this is what came of it. I hope you enjoy this card. Thanks for stopping by.
