The holidays are HERE....and it's not always about cards!

So summer is over!!! Wah!!!! But at least I love in southern Cali and we are still blessed with some hot sunny weather! We can't deny though the holidays are finally here!! Halloween stuff is already popping up in the store, soon it will be Christmas and you know Thanksgiving will be in that mix! Well to start it off I decided to make a Fall wreath. I love wreaths and think they are so versatile and can be used in any occasion or holiday!!

So I know when people hear Stampin' Up they think cards! But it's not and this project shows your products, stamps, framelits can do so much more than make a gorgeous card! I know I know you want to see the wreath already! Ok....here it is!

Well there you have it! My fall wreath! I'm pretty excited about it. So here are the details on how I did it:

White Tulle
Gold tulle
Styrofoam wreath
Banner framlits
Champagne Glitter paper
Little Letters Thinlits
Wood emboss folder
Gold soirée DSP
Spiral flower big die
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Tangelo Twist Cardstock
Tangelo Twist ink
kinda Eclectic Stamp Set
Bakers Twine
2 Inch circle punch
Whisper White Cardstock

I cut the tulle and just kept tying it around until it was completely covered. I made the banner and embossed it with the wood folder. I wanted the letter to stand out so I used champagne glitter paper for them. I really like how it ties with the gold tulle. I used the starburst stamp behind the letters on the whisper white circle. I love the look.

We'll I hope you enjoyed my wreath and it inspires you to make something out of the box. Happy Carfting all!!!

Happy Happy Birthday...

Hey Everyone!!

Hope your night is going well. Here is another quick card to I put together. I recently got rid of an old phone on eBay and the buyer lives in Washington. He sent me a message saying it was for his daughter and wanted to know if I could stick a little note in it saying "Happy Birthday Rachel." So I figured I would do one better than  that and make her a cute card to go along with her new phone. Hopefully when she opens up her package the card will bring a smile to her face as much as her new phone! Ok so enough jibber jabber here are my card details.

CARD RECIPE
Coastal Cabana Cardstock
Strawberry Slush
Petite Petals Stamp Set & Punch
Label Love Stamp Set
Artisan Label Punch
Fresh Prints DSP (Retired)
Emboss Folder (non SU product)
Banner Framelits

You can use any embossing folder for the background and it really takes your card up a notch. The one thing I love about Stampin' Up is how all of the colors coordinate together. Your paper matches your ink and embellishments and markers. The color combos are fabulous and you have so many options. You can't go wrong with what you pick.

Well I hope you enjoyed this card I have shared with you tonight. For any of the products I used on this card please visit my online store HERE. Happy Crafting everyone.

It's a blue blue Christmas...

I couldn't help myself and I have one more card to share tonight. I really love blue, white and silver combo for Christmas. I mixed it up a little and hope you find something you like about it. I used a wood grain stamp for the background and embossed it with silver. I really do love the effect and sparkle it give the card. I didn't want to add to much because I really liked the background. The card and trees are coastal cabana and the trees are stamped with coastal cabana also. The ornaments are dazzling details. The sentiment is also from festival of trees. I added a little banner to the corner stamped with a star in whisper white and put a rhinestone in the center. I think it gave it just the right touch.

A different angle to see the details

CARD RECIPE

Sneak a Peak of Christmas!!

Good morning everyone!

Well I have another post for your today! Two in one day! I couldn't help myself though. I received my holiday order from Stampin' Up a couple of days ago and I have been dying to play with my stuff. Yes I know it's August but Christmas is right around the corner and it's time to start preparing because we know how we all like to wait to the last minute to make 50 cards for friends and family (wink, wink). Well I work graveyard and when I got home this morning I couldn't sleep because I was really really wanting to check out my new stuff and didn't want to wait two more days. So I ordered the floral framelits awhile ago. I knew as soon as I saw them I wanted to use them to make a shape card. Well I decided to pair of my wreath from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer stamp set with my framelits. I also ordered the Wonderful Wreath framelits which pairs up with the Wreath stamp set. So here is my card….what do you think?

I embossed the second flower with gold and I also embossed the ribbon which there is a ribbon stamp and a ribbon framelit to cut it out. The word Joy comes from the framelit. I embossed Joy in clear embossing powder. It's hard to see in the picture but the clear embossing makes Joy a little bit shiny and stand. The wreath is a 3 step process but it's not hard. I really am pretty happy with this card and I can see myself using the floral framelits for other events and not just Christmas. Well I hope you enjoyed this sneak peak into Christmas. Now remember the holida catalog is coming out August 28 and you can start ordering products on the 28th also. If you would like a catalog please let me know and I would be glad to mail one out to you. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting,
Priscilla
